This is a new area of work for us. We have had discussions with a number of people, done some pertinent reading, and taken thought on the issues at hand. Our experience to date consists of one appearance in court: Goldsmid served as an expert witness in a domestic dispute in which the value of a collection of books was one of matters at stake. In this case, he was accepted by the opposing attorney and court as an expert. This November 1998 case was argued in Orange County (California) Superior Court. Details on request.
